First of all, the word is not Yoga, but Yog. Today was my
first day of my Yog practice.
It was a simple 15 minute session.
It was as follows-
·
3 Om chanting
·
5 repetition of Pancham Kriya
·
1 standing Ashan- Vikshashana
·
1 sitting Ashan- Paschimottashana
·
1 Ashan on stomach- Bujangashana
·
1 Ashan on back- Savashana
·
5 set of Suryanamaskar
·
Brahmamudhra
·
Pranayam- Brahmari, Anulom-Vilom and Kapalbhati-
2.5 minutes
I am going to practice this simple method. I will increase
the number of Ashan to make it a one hour session. In the final one hour session,
there will be-
·
3 Om Chanting
·
25 repetition of Pacham Kriya
·
4 standing Ashana
·
4 sitting Ashana
·
4 Ashana on stomach
·
4 Ashana on back
·
20 set of Suryanamskar
·
Brahmamudhra
·
Pranayam- Brahmari, Anulom-Vilom and Kapalbhati-
10 minutes
Yog is called a practice. The reason is simple. In Yog, a
person learns something or the other every day. Today I learn the beauty of simplicity.
If a person wants to do anything, he has to keep the things simple. Simplicity has
its own beauty. People complicate things because they want to possess it. There
is no need for possession. Life has enough for everyone to be happy.
